Born in Puglia in 1990, Attilio Di Turi grew up in a family linked to photography, developing a passion for storytelling from a young age. He moved to Rome, where he obtained a diploma in editing from the Roberto Rossellini State Institute for Cinematography and Television and completed a screenwriting workshop at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.
He began his career directing and editing music videos and branded content, before moving on to the film industry.
He has worked as an 1st assistant editor, and camera operator for Rai Cinema, RSI, Paramount,
Indiana Production and 102 Distribution
He has worked with directors such as Valerio Jalongo, Valentina Bertuzzi, Elisa Fuksas, Nello Correale, Marco Castaldi and Sabrina Iannucci
In the meantime, he is dedicating himself to writing personal projects.
He was 1st assistant director on the film ‘Wider Than The Sky,’ produced by Ameuropa INT, Rai Cinema and RSI and directed by Valerio Jalongo,
in competition at Vision Du Reèl and the Rome Film Festival.
Currently engaged in the development of his debut work, the documentary film ‘BARACCHE E BURATTINI’ produced by UnaFilm, with a screenplay that was a finalist at Netpitch organised by Writers Guild Italia and winner of Filmmaking Etnografico Lab created by SIAE/Antropica, and Italian Doc Screening '25 by Doc/It
